Your data is used to run your account, save and sync your progress across devices, personalize your experience (like your theme and roadmap position), send you essential account emails, and improve the product. That's it.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We don't run third-party ad networks, and we don't share your information except with the trusted infrastructure providers below that operate on our behalf.
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. For analytics we use PostHog to understand usage patterns in aggregate — never to build advertising profiles. Data is stored in MongoDB Atlas, and product email is sent through Resend.
We send essential emails (welcome, email verification, password resets) and optional nudges (like streak reminders). Every optional email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and opting out never affects essential account mail.
You can view and update your profile at any time, unsubscribe from optional emails in one click, and request a copy or deletion of your account data by contacting us. We'll honor verified requests as required by applicable law.
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Data is held on managed, access-controlled infrastructure and retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data except where we're required to keep records.
In accordance with applicable data-protection law, you can reach our Grievance Officer with any complaint about how your personal data is handled. We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days of receipt.
