How we collect, use, and protect your personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — and the rights you have as a Data Principal.
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how TryAlgoViz ("we," "us," or "our"), operating as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), collects, uses, processes, stores, and protects the personal data of our users ("you," "your," or "Data Principal").
We operate an online learning / SaaS platform. By registering for an account or using our services, you unambiguously consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in this Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, your consent is the primary basis for processing your personal data.
We collect only the minimum personal data necessary to provide our learning-platform services.
We process your personal data strictly for the specified, lawful purposes below:
To deliver our services, we share your data with trusted third-party providers who act as Data Processors on our behalf. They are contractually bound to protect your data and process it only under our instructions:
Note on cross-border transfers: some sub-processors may store or process data on servers located outside India. By using our platform, you consent to the transfer of your personal data outside India, subject to security measures complying with the DPDP Act and applicable Indian laws.
We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption of data at rest within MongoDB Atlas. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Upon your request for account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable statutory obligations.
Our platform is open to learners of all ages, including individuals under the age of 18 ("Children"). However, if you are under 18, you may use the platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to this Policy on your behalf. Any purchase or payment made in connection with the account must be authorized by that parent or legal guardian.
In line with the DPDP Act, we process a child's personal data only where verifiable parental consent has been obtained, and we do not undertake tracking, behavioral monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children. If we learn that a child is using the platform without the required parental consent, we will take steps to obtain that consent or delete the data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or regulatory requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date and, where feasible, sending an email notification.
If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints regarding this Policy, or wish to exercise your rights as a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, please contact our designated Grievance Officer. We commit to acknowledging your grievance within 48 hours and resolving it within the timelines prescribed under the DPDP Act.
